Café, Wine Bar and Club
Owner/Proprietor: Simon and Susie Thornhill Quirky, relaxing and bursting with atmosphere, you will be greeted by friendly and professional staff in the unique and bohemian style of The Troubadour. Established in the 1950's The Troubadour is steeped with history – this is where Bob Dylan's first London performance took place and the first edition of Private Eye was distributed. The café offers a superb range of food or you can just stop by for a coffee, open from 9am to midnight you will be welcomed and not rushed, with a quaint garden located at the back of café, making it a perfect venue for those sunny days. Located downstairs is The Club which provides entertainment most nights of the week, offering something for most tastes from Rock, Jazz, Blues, Folk and poetry recitals. Wine is a great passion at The Troubadour, with Troubadour Wines, their own retail outlet located next to the Café and wine tasting evenings held on a regular basis, their wine expert will informally and unpretentiously guide you through The Troubadour's wine selection.
