The Plough and Fleece village and country inn offers a warm and sincere welcome. The two landladies, Rosemary and Emily are always on hand to make sure all customers are receiving first class service and food. The food on offer is a mixture of "good farmer's wife" fare and also more refined specialist dishes due to the combined skills of both chefs.

The inn has a delightful garden where the hens live in the coupe and produce the freshly laid eggs that are served in the pub. The vegetables served are grown mostly in the landlady's garden, two examples of the freshness of the food offer. The garden overlooks wonderful farmland with views over the river Cam and is bathed in sun in the summer months. A large seating area has been designed for the comfort of all customers.

The inside of the inn is traditional, with a large fire for the winter evenings. Low beamed ceilings, nooks to sit in, and wonderfully comfortable sofas all add to the ambience in The Plough and Fleece. The inn is a key part of village life in this community but also enjoys customer from farther afield with many customers using The Plough and Fleece as a halfway meeting point to have a first class meal, excellent ales and a very enjoyable experience.

The events throughout the week at The Plough and Fleece are varied and offer a wide range of activities and theme nights to cater for all tastes: from a game of Petanque to jazz nights this beautiful country inn offers so much to all its customers. This destination inn is quickly becoming renowned for its food and service: when visiting Cambridge do not miss the opportunity of visiting The Plough and Fleece.
