The Swan Inn, rebuilt in 1905 overlooks the old cricket green of Claygate Village. This busy pub is extremely well known for serving first class Thai cuisine served Tuesday – Saturday 12-3 and 5pm-10pm alongside a more traditional English menu on weekdays and they serve a fantastic Sunday Roast 12 noon to 6pm. The staff have a relaxed nature and you will be treated as a local from the minute you walk through the doors. There is a village atmosphere throughout with its rural setting but is also ideally situated to give easy access to London. The six bedrooms are offered an excellent rate from £75 per night for a single and £85 for a double. The rooms are contemporary throughout and are all ensuite. Dogs are most welcome and 50 yards from the pub on Arbrook Lane lies the most wonderful dog walks around. Miles of countryside to stroll about and then back to the Swan for another pint!
