The Sedbergh Café opened in August 2007 under the same management as the multi award winning New Village Tearooms 16 miles away in Orton, offering a varied menu with the emphasis on home baking and cooking. All teas are blended by Taylors of Harrogate and all coffees are Fairtrade, imported and roasted by Taylors of Harrogate. All teas and coffees are available to buy in the shop which also offers a range of gifts and tea related accessories.
The Sedbergh Café offers customers a free internet access point along with free wireless internet access throughout. Sedbergh is situated on the Pennine Cycleway (route 68 national cycle network) and has direct access to the Howgills.
