* until further notice The Rose and Crown is a traditional and welcoming English country inn, situated in the village of Great Waltham. Real fine ales are on offer as well as freshly prepared meals and, when in season, The Rose and Crown offers a country menu including pheasant, partridge and venison. Once a month a trip to the races is organised, starting the day with breakfast then off to a selected racecourse. Once you have collected your winnings you will end the day enjoying a meal at the Rose and Crown in the evening, all of which is offered at outstanding value for money: £35 for one or £65 for a couple.
