This returns for its 31st year celebrating the town and local area. The Festival is bigger than ever before with over 100 different events to choose from. Family favourites such as the Town Centre Cycle Races, Guildford Festival Craft Fair, Farmers’ Markets, Guildford Cricket Festival, Guildford Lions Raft Race, Drama in the Castle Grounds, classical concerts, Guilfest and Walkfest all return for summer 2014.
There will be a whole host of theatre, sport, art, music, walks, heritage, tours and days out to keep you busy over the summer. Brochures are available to collect from Guildford Tourist Information Centre, The Electric Theatre, G Live ticket shop and other distribution point around the borough.

This is the amazing new attraction for Summer Family Activities in Surrey. Go wild in the woods high in the air on obstacles and zip wires on the biggest treetop adventure of its type in the UK! Designed for all kinds of adventurous people there are two separate courses.
Wild Kids is designed for juniors from 5 to 12 years and over 1m high and contains two big loops of fun in the trees both finishing with fast zip wires to the ground.
Wild Wood Adventure is for 11 years up and is designed for adults in mind with challenges going up to 12m high in two big loops of obstacles of all kinds of difficulty ending in either the Wild Drop free fall descender or Wild Zip twin fast 100m zip wires! Wild Wood uses a super safe safety system that keeps you attached at all times so no more clipping on and off and more enjoyment and thrills! Surrey Hills Llamas, Guildford
Enjoy a wonderful family day out with your very own gentle, friendly Llama for the day, carrying your picnic as you lead them through the spectacular Surrey Hills from the high points of which you can see as far as the English Channel. You can also join in on one of their famous summer picnic treks or a winter morning walk ending with lunch in the UK’s first llama pub!

Some of the must visit historic houses are Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey originally build as a present to Cardinal Wolsey from King Henry VIII sometime around 1514. Loseley Park, Guildford set in the rolling North Downs overlooking magnificent parklands, has been in the same family for 500 years build by Sir William Moore in 1562 at the request of Queen Elizabeth 1, it retains the warmth and welcome of a family home with three generations of the More Molyneux. Ham House & Gardens – this rare and atmospheric 17th-century house sits on the banks of the River Thames in Richmond. Reigate Hill & Gatton Manor – spectacular escarpment with sweeping views across the Weald, this stretch of the North Downs is good walking country with flower-sprinkled grasslands and quiet shady woods.

Campaign Paintball & Lazer Park – The perfect party venue – Campaign Paintball & Lazer Park is a 100 acre adventure experience located near Cobham, Surrey and is one of Europe’s premier outdoor activity venues.
