A Stafford pub has been awarded a top gong by a prestigious national publishing company.
The Holly Bush Inn, Salt, has been named Les Routiers ‘Inn of the Year 2017’.
The pub, owned by Admiral Taverns, was chosen ahead of hundreds of other establishments based on performance, customer feedback, reviews and recommendations.

The Holly Bush Inn is widely recognised as the second oldest licensed pub in the UK, with origins claimed to reach as far back as 1190.
Tina Griffiths, customer service executive at Les Routiers said, “Our annual awards highlight establishments that consistently meet and exceed our membership standards.
“For 2017 the competition has been fierce with extremely strong contenders for each category. But the judges believe that this year’s winners have consistently demonstrated exceptional levels of service hospitality, quality of food throughout the year.”

Mr. Holland has celebrated over 20 years as landlord of The Holly Bush Inn, winning Staffordshire Dining Pub of the Year, Les Routiers Dining Pub of the Year, and British Food Pub of the Year.
As well as offering a popular lunchtime and evening menu including a mixture of pub classics and house specials, the Holly Bush Inn serves a choice of Cask Marque approved real ales, guest ciders and fine wines.
There is also ample car parking and a spacious heated beer garden.
The Holly Bush Inn is open 12noon- 11pm Monday- Saturday and 12noon- 10:30pm Sundays, with food served 12noon- 9.30pm Monday- Saturday and 12noon- 9pm Sundays.
