Ancient, Seventeenth Century pub and restaurant that was the home of the ferry between the Isle-of-Oxney and the English mainland at Appledore. The Ferry Inn is situated in beautiful countryside between Tenterden, Appledore, Stone-in-Oxney and Wittersham adjoining the historic Saxon Shore Way. It is only 4.4 miles from Rye and 5.5 miles from Tenterden.
Our emphasis is on the best locally sourced meat, fish and game and all food is prepared to order. Fresh fish from the daily catch at Rye, Hastings and Folkestone is featured on the menu whenever possible.
Smaller portions and dishes adapted for children and guests with special dietary requirements, as everything is freshly cooked.
