Bar: Extensive interesting characterful wine list of outstanding value for money. Excellent house wines. Set a block or two back from the seafront, this splendid gable-ended mansion is one of many fine examples of Victorian architecture that define this traditional resort town. Smart oak-panelled public rooms include the Welsh Dresser Bar, which sports a magnificent cooking range. There's a relaxing reading lounge and a panelled lounge with an open fire and cosy corners.
In the restaurant, chandeliers, draped windows and linen-clothed tables make for elegant dining. |
