Bar: Range of 3 real ales and over 40 wines The Countryman offers all you'd expect of a traditional, cosy inn tucked away down a country lane. The Vaughan family have run the pub for 20 years, and have maintained its old-fashioned charm – the impressive inglenook fireplace remains a centrepiece – while ensuring their menus have moved with the times. You can eat informally in the comfortably seated bars or the main restaurant area, which can seat 50. This, too, has a log fire and beams, plus lovely views on to the gardens. |
